As part of the MEMO conference, 24 participants came together to shape the Digital Medium-sized City of the Future.

After an exciting overview of the current state of our research, we moved on to interactive deep-dive sessions:

IT security: with systems such as the SOAR system (Security, Orchestration Automation & Response) demonstrated in the workshop, municipalities can better detect cyber attacks and respond more quickly.

Participation: This workshop discussed how participation formats for citizens in municipalities can be used to promote genuine cooperation with civil society.

Law annotation: The tool demonstrated in the workshop can be used to annotate laws and administrative regulations and translate them into process models, among other things. This allows room for flexibility in law enforcement to be identified.

Afterwards, we were able to gather useful feedback and exciting suggestions for the continuation of our work from the participants.
